The most vivid and unexpected environmental encounter I experienced on the trip to Bonaire was snorkeling in a freshwater pool in a cave, complete with rapelling, encounters with bats, experiencing "total darkness," and swimming through and over
and under limestone stalagtites and stalagmites. Attached is a movie clip as a group of
Bonaire W08 spelunkers emerging from the cave on that excursion.
