For our geocache assignment, we chose to locate the cache located near Captain Don's Habitat. We got a ride to Captain Don's, then followed the GPS across the street into the brush. We walked through thorns and bushes for about ten minutes, until we got close to the coordinates given. Along the way we had to dodge the thorns and rocks, which would have been a lot easier had we not all been wearing flip flops. Ashley ended up with a few thorns going straight through her shoes. We then used the hints given (covered with rocks in the shade) to locate the white canister underneath a bush. Inside we found a stuffed monkey, a penguin, a band aid, and some other random items. We left behind a copper ring of Kat's. This was a relatively easy cahce to find, and once you got near the coordinates, the canister was pretty easily recognizable.
