hotel, a few of us met an interesting guy named Alexander. I know
Maggie already wrote about him, but he really deserves a couple of
entries. He grew up on the island, and told us that he worked as an
architect, designing buildings around the center of town. He was
nice enough to let us use his cell phone to call the cab company, and
then while we were waiting he started talking about his views on
America and politics. Let's just say he had some, um, interesting
theories on current events. He waited with us until the taxi came,
then helped talk to the driver when we were trying to figure out how
to split up the group. All in all he was a nice guy, and was very
helpful in getting us back to the hotel in one piece.
