Last night on the way back from bachelor beach with Ashface we met delightful young fellow by the name of Monyoco. He is a security guard at the Belmar Dive complex. We talked to him fro quite awhile and we found out that he is a native to the island. He has family, some of which live in St. Martin, where he's going on vacation for a week come Tuesday. We found a hermit crab on the side of the road, and he told us the native name for the hermit crab is, Craliba (I think). Eventually we had to part, but I'm excited to see him again. All the locals I have met have been extraordinarily hospitable and friendly, I look forward to meeting more.
