Our project is comparing the rocky intertidal zone of 2-3 beaches along the Western coast. At Donkey Beach on Monday morning we did a sampling of snails and urchins. We also counted crabs and made other observations. We will also be determining the type of rock in the area and the life it supports. We will also be repeating our samples at dusk. We plan on removing patches of snails to determine the time it takes for them to return. We will likely survey the coast near Angel city. Maggie & Ash S.
