Thoughts of Bonaire

This winter abroad I would hope to gain knowledge that could only be achieved first hand. The opportunity to study and partake in research with a team of scientists is certainly a great experience for an undergraduate. While in Bonaire, I would like to gain a sense of the island culture. I want to find out how life differs between growing up on Bonaire compared to the United States. I also am curious on how the island food will be. I would think to achieve these thoughts of curiosity of mine, i will have to stray out from the comforts of the hotel and the tourists traps. -Kenny B.
