I expect that Bonaire will have a more intimate feel to it as it is a smaller island, and that I will probably feel like a tourist and somewhat out of place at first. I am looking forward to the Caribbean cuisine and way of life. I imagine that the ocean will be my primary location during the daytime. I am anticipating that the days will be filled with snorkeling in the water and traveling throughout the island in order to learn not only about its scientific features, but also its environmental constraints and culture.
